How does it tie together?

I want to represent an idea – the idea that if you truly believe in what you want to do – it can happen.

USMA 2003 - Class Motto: "Protectors of the Free"

United States Military Academy:  West Point provided me a sense of pride and dedication with the motto of  duty, honor, country.   It was the ideal place for me to start my undergraduate education while learning from the best about leadership.  The history of the long grey line embraces greatness and continues to remind me to do and achieve dreams bigger than me.

EMTM '10

EMTM:   The Executive Masters in Technology Management (EMTM) program from the University of Pennsylvania’s the Wharton School and Penn Engineering.  I studied for this degree because I wanted to keep up with technology that is changing rapidly and the business insights to translate technology breakthroughs into competitive advantages.  This degree gave me the knowledge to develop skills to effectively manage and monetize technology.

NYFA '07

NYFA: New York Film Academy – When I left the army and took my first civilian job, I felt that I lack the ability to transition my leadership abilities from the Army to the civilian world.  I had a great foundation and understanding of leadership, but I lacked the ability to reach people who were non – military.  So I decided to look for the experience that will allow me to learn how to lead people from different walks of life with different motivations. Aha – Film school!  It was at film school where I studied the disciplines of Producing and Directing and the art of visual story telling.  I learned how to reach people with different motivations and ambitions, which I am able to successfully translate to leading teams successfully.
